The Hudson French

There is nothing remotely French about this place but this is just the sort of spot I wish I had in my neighborhood. And if you’re a fan of Maira Kalman, (celebrated children’s book author and New Yorker cover artist) you’ll appreciate the wall murals. Try the Pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup brimming with bok choy and brisket. My daughter’s burger was perfect and I couldn’t keep away from the skinny, crispy fries.  Quirky and random menu, interesting wine list and unassuming but groovy vibe make this a charming stop for dinner.
