Dagmar’s Desserts

Once upon a time, the village baker decided to bake a log instead of a cake? Why? Who knows, but I’m partial to this one: Dagmar calls it a Tannen log, but it’s best known as Buche de Noel. Her version is a cocoa sponge roll filled with chocolate buttercream, covered in ganache and decorated with meringue mushrooms,
fresh rosemary sprigs and cranberries.Yummy.
