Ballou’s Wine Bar

My daughter and her friend, Catie, were all too happy to accompany me for an indulgent lunch at Ballou’s. To start, we giddily dunked our way through a bubbling Cheddar Merlot fondue. Then we couldn’t resist the bacon-studded, stellar mac and cheese. A mound of salad to cleanse our palate before the main event: a bowl of bittersweet chocolate fondue surrounded by dippable bits of bananas, apples, rice krispy treats and pound cake. A perfect Valentine’s lunch or dinner, but why wait?
