The Food and Wine Festival

You don’t have to be a tennis fanatic to head to The New Haven Open. This year, The Food and Wine Festival at The Open (previously The Pilot Pen) has five events for foodies, featuring the city’s top restaurants (including e-list favorites: Heirloom, Caseus, 116 CrownUnion League and Zinc). Here’s your chance to taste the best that New Haven has to offer and indulge in an afternoon or evening of world class tennis. Get tickets for the BBQ Bash with live music on August 21st or the Grand Tasting on August 24th (sweet and savory bites, plus wine tastings from 20 top chefs), get tips from New Haven’s top mixologist, John Ginnetti of 116 Crown at Mixology 101, or spend an afternoon with your girlfriends at the Vineyard Vines Fashion Show with luncheon by Carey Savona of Heirloom. Most events include a box seat ticket. For more info and tickets: www.newhavenopen.com
