Saybrook Soup and Sandwich
We are completely thrilled with the concept at Saybrook Soup and Sandwich, thrilled enough to try it three times in the last week. Six soups, fresh salads (try the arugula with strawberries, gorgonzola and white balsamic) and a menu of sandwiches unlike any other on the Shoreline. Here’s what sets them apart. The meats are rotisserie roasted until they’re falling off the bone and then great wads of the stuff are jammed between bread of your choice and dressed with super high quality ingredients. The pot roast was fantastic! It’s been mobbed here, so they don’t particularly need an e-list shout out, but if you live in an adjacent town and haven’t been yet, give it a go.
