RiverQuest

Bald eagles, the Goodspeed Opera House, and the beautiful shores of the Connecticut River have something very special in common – they can all be enjoyed on a breezy cruise aboard “RiverQuest.” Depart from Haddam with Captain Mark and Mindy in their 64-foot, full-canopied vessel to ply the waters of the lower Connecticut River.
Pack a picnic basket and B.Y.O.B. for a two-hour sunset cruise for $25 per person. Great for a romantic evening, a family get-together, or a girl’s night out. Try one of the popular Tree Swallow Cruises beginning August 26th, a Lighthouse Viewing on August 25th, or the daily daytime Gillette’s Castle Cruise. Binoculars available for close encounters with eagles and ospreys.
New this summer, on select Saturdays enjoy a one-hour morning kids cruise as the tots go on a nautical scavenger hunt while learning about the river’s ecology. Children ages 2 to 12, $5 each, 13 and up $15 each, and under 2 free.
