Tour de Lyme

May 11, 2013
Lyme is a cyclist’s dream and that’s thanks to the work of the Lyme Land Conservation Trust which has been protecting and maintaining preserved land in Lyme for generations to come. We’re so thrilled that the Land Trust has put together a benefit bike ride, The Tour de Lyme, that we’ve started our own team!  Ashlawn FarmErik Block Design/Build and the-e-list are officially the Builders, Baristas and Blabbers. Join us for either a gentle, family-friendly, eleven mile loop (me) to a challenging 50 miler (my husband) with 20 or 25 mile options in between. Prefer off road? No problem, pick one of two single track events and enjoy the backwoods and preserved lands of Lyme. Plenty of rest stops with refreshments and facilities will be provided, a detour to Salem Ice Cream or Ashlawn Farm Coffee is de rigueur, and we’ll all meet for lunch (included) at the end. Ride donation is $50 (with every dime going to the Land Trust), children under 16 are free with a registered adult rider, and donations over $250 get a cool Tour de Lyme bike jersey. Spread the word to all your cycling friends! If you’d like to join our team click here and choose Builders, Baristas and Blabbers under team participants. Or just sign up for the ride and we’ll see you there. Learn more about it here:  www.tourdelyme.org
