Lots of us head to Becker’s to drool over the large and well-priced selection of estate diamonds and jewels, but it’s also THE destination on the Shoreline if you’re in the market for a vintage watch. And, well, who isn’t? Yes, we know cellphones have made all things analog obsolete. But, let’s face it, accessorizing for men is downright dismal. Might as well have a little fun and get Dad something REAL for his wrist.
The day I stopped in the selection included the likes of Le Coultre, Breitling, Baume & Mercier and a whole line up of Rolex. Plus, they’ve got a ton of fresh inventory in store for their pre-owned Swiss Watch Event (going on now through June 18th), so you’ll have plenty more to choose from. Prices are surprisingly good (that Le Coultre was $2450, during the sale is $1470, a 1960 vintage Rolex is $3400, a Longines at $659. Great idea for grads, too. Good to know: you can shop Becker’s on eBay, too.
