Day trip! Head to Stone Barns (home of chef Dan Barber's infamous restaurant and a non-profit working farm dedicated to increasing public awareness about seasonable and sustainable food) for their Harvest Fest featuring a foodie's fantasy farmer's market (Balthazar Bakery, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Mast Brother's Chocolate, Stone Barns own produce and pastured meats), music, hay rides, farm demos, farm olympics and a pig roast.
