What’s better than a family-friendly restaurant with offerings that please the entire picky crew? You’ll find over a dozen antibiotic, hormone-free, 100% Angus beef burgers on the menu here with all manner of toppings, plus a long list of non-meat items for the vegetarians among us. The wheat-averse can skip the delish brioche bun and opt for a gluten-free Udi’s roll or have their burger over salad greens. Zucchini, eggplant or sweet potato fries can replace the perfectly golden shoestrings, or clean things up with a side of greens or spicy slaw. The best part of this utter gluttony? While your kids are scarfing down their burgers, you can treat yourself to an Adult Milkshake made with Gifford’s insane ice cream, whipped cream and spiked with flavored vodka. Our favorite burgers at Haywire include (but are not limited to) the Avocado Ranch (red onion, cheddar and Ranch dressing) and The Burger Blues (bleu cheese, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms and bbq sauce). Everybody’s happy.
