Kate Classic: Suddenly, Last Summer

Met Summer Encore: Nabucco
Enjoy this performance on the big screen at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, 300 Main St, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2nd. Met Music Director Emeritus James Levine conducts Verdi’s early drama of ancient Babylon, Nabucco, with Plácido Domingo adding a new role to his Met repertoire as the title character. Rickie Lee Jones
The two-time Grammy winner Rickie Lee Jones’ music will fill the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, 300 Main St, on Thursday August 3rd, 7:30pm. All-Bach Program

Rapunzel

The Corvettes Doo Wop Revue

The Weight Band

A Man and His Prostate

A near tragedy is masterfully transformed into a one-man comedy, perfectly portrayed by Ed Asner in his hilarious visit to the hospital in preparation for surgery he doesn’t want. Tickets are $75. The Kate’s Summer Gala with Glenn Close
Acclaimed actress Glenn Close has been named the recipient of the 2nd annual Spirit of Katharine Hepburn Award. The award, given by the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, is bestowed yearly upon an individual who embodies the spirit, independence, and character of the legendary actress. The award will be presented to Close at the organization’s annual Summer Gala on Saturday, August 26th at 6:00 pm at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, 300 Main Street.
