Explore with Connecticut Audubon’s Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center for its first-ever Estuary Exploration Series. Participants will observe and better understand local flora and fauna during Saturday morning field trips in May. PhD ecologist and ornithologist, Paul Spitzer, and aquatic ecologist, Jim Arrigoni, will lead participants to prime, natural preserves throughout the estuary watershed.
These May field trips will run from 9:00-1:00 every Saturday, with registration and check-in from 8:30-8:50 in the Old Lyme I-95 park and ride. From there we will give everyone directions to the site. Please bring a bag lunch.
May 6, 13, 20, 27 from 9:00 – 1:00 pm. Meet at Park and Ride at 8:30 am.
