Reduce your stress and increase your energy with an 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course presented by Copper Beech Institute at Mercy by the Sea in Madison, beginning on September 20th.
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course, founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts in 1979, teaches participants how to use their innate resources and abilities to respond more effectively to stress, pain, and illness. The central focus of the course is intensive training in mindfulness meditation and its application to the challenges of everyday life. Decades of published research has proven the effectiveness of MBSR in reducing stress and increasing energy.

Class Time: 6:30 – 8pm
Wednesdays: September 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15
Class Time: 6:30 – 9pm with the first class extended by a half hour and last class by one hour
All Day Retreat: Saturday, November 11 from 9am – 4:30pm
