Be Well / beauty / Jennie Fresa

Jennie Fresa Makeup & Skincare

While I’m a reluctant groomer (I can’t sit still, just ask my hairstylist, Tim Pamment), I do try to get a semi-regular eyebrow wax with Jennie Fresa. Her virtually painless method uses an aromatic blend of azuline oil and vitamin E; the wax has calming properties and is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin types (mine). Unlike a typical sterile-feeling spa, her freshly revamped beauty boutique is housed in an antique cape and her offerings aren’t available elsewhere on the Shoreline: coveted Tata Harper Natural Skin Care, Vered Organic Botanicals, Dr. Alkaitis Organic Skin Food. Mixed in are some great gift ideas, too: In O’scents of Madison lavender bath salts and french milled soaps, adorable Poor & Pretty cupcake soaps and lip balms, and Lollia’s elegant candles. Besides her signature waxing, Jennie offers facials, make-up applications and lessons and extremely natural looking, yet super glamorous false eye-lashes! I was sporting them on Girls Night Out. Anyone notice? I just love Jennie! Say you saw it on the-elist and take 20% off brow styling, holiday makeup applications and facials…..AND get a  FREE gift with any purchase of $75 or more (through 12/31).
