While it may feel like fall is canceled, we’ve rounded up a slew of things to enjoy, entertain and enlighten.

Corn Maze and Apple Picking at Bishop’s Orchards, 10am to 5pm thru the end of October. Details here.

Ladies Night Out presented by the Guilford Green Merchants: Enjoy discounts and specials at shops and restaurants surrounding the Guilford Green on October 15th from noon until 8pm.

I-Park Founders Guided Art Walk on October 10th. Art lovers and nature enthusiasts will love this founder led tour of I-Parks trails and art installations to benefit I-Park’s Artists-in-Residence program.

Happy Hour Under the Tent at Madison Beach Hotel: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30, enjoy happy hour cocktails, live music and socially distanced companionship.

High Hopes Holiday Market goes virtual this year! Shop local vendors from the comfort of your couch, from November 15th to November 28th.

Florence Griswold Museum: Wee Faerie Village goes virtual this year and find more fun events at the Flo Gris, including the Wee Faerie Super Fan and Crafting Club. Cafe Flo is open until November 1.

Lyman Allyn Museum: Stains Remain, Works by Michael Harvey thru 11/1, and Sweet Dreams, Confectionery Sculpture by Peter Anton thru 10/18.

The Connecticut River Museum hosts the Onrust, a re-creation of the vessel Adriaen Block built in 1614.  Now in its fourth year on the Museum docks, Onrust is available for public cruises and private charters through October 25.

Yale Center For British Art and Yale Art Gallery reopen with timed free tickets.

Lyme Art Association: Offering reduced capacity classes and private art instruction, plus a new exhibit Land and Sea opening on October 9th.

The Garde Virtual Cinema, ongoing:  A specially curated selection of new and classic independent films that you can view on several digital platforms. Your ticket to these fascinating films will help sustain the Garde during this shutdown and support new and independent filmmakers and studios.

Mystic Seaport Museum presents  Sailor Made: Folk Art of the Sea, a new exhibition celebrating the art of the working sailor, reflecting sailors’ connections to shipboard life, their thoughts about culture on shore, and the souvenirs they created to remember and share the experiences of their travels. Shakin’ the Blues Away, Goodspeed’s Virtual Gala, October 29th. Support a local institution with a $25 ticket to a virtual gala features a moving and uplifting evening of song and dance that was filmed throughout the Goodspeed Opera House and features performances from an incredibly talented cast including Rashidra Scott, Alysha Umphress, Gizel Jiménez, Klea Blackhurst, Nicholas Ward, and Bryan Thomas Hunt and Kelly Sheehan.
