Cafe Routier: The Sliders

As hard as I try to branch out, I order the sliders off the lounge menu at Cafe Routier every last time. The sumptuous trio of itty bitty Kobe beef burgers always arrive with the right amount of crisp on the outside and perfect shade of juicy pink on the inside. One is topped with a foie gras mousse, another with caramelized onions and cheddar, and the third with bacon and melted blue cheese. A pile of cornichons offer a tangy bite on the side. And forget the beer, these elevated bites deserve a cocktail. $12.
