Neighborhood Music School

Neighborhood Music School is one of the 10 largest community arts organizations in the U.S. Since 1978 NMS has offered private music lessons at the First Congregational Church on the Guilford Green. NMS also offers early childhood music and movement classes in collaboration with the Guilford Parks and Recreation Department at the Nathanael B. Greene Community Center.

 

Music Lessons

Music lessons are offered for piano, strings, winds, brass and voice. Suzuki instruction is available for piano, violin and flute at the First Congregational Church (on the Green) in the Education Building: 110 Broad Street, Guilford, CT 06437.

Early Childhood Classes
Location: Nathanael B. Greene Community Center, 32 Church Street (Rt 77), Guilford, Conn., 06437

**Guilford residents receive a $10 discount on early childhood classes. Among the offerings is the popular Teddy Bear Rhythms, which teaches very young children small, positive steps through listening, repetition and imitation.
