Pradipika (pronounced pra-DIP-i-kah) is a sanskrit word that means to illuminate or to shed light on, from the classic yoga text, The Hatha Yoga Pradipika, which teaches the principles of the physical and energetic practice of yoga.   Pradipika offers a space to practice heated power vinyasa, yoga foundations, gentle yoga, and meditation.  Our teachers are committed to creating an environment that encourages precise and safe alignment, gentleness and acceptance during practice, as well as building strength and flexibility in the body.  Pradipika is a place for you to discover your own path to a wellness and radiance that comes from within.

  • Save time and sign up for class online on our schedule page OR arrive 15 min early to register at the studio.
  • Yoga is for everyone!  Come as you are, drop in & enjoy a class.  Pre-registration is not necessary.
  • Yoga mats & towels available for rent or purchase, or bring your own.
  • Wear comfortable clothes, no shoes required, bring a water bottle.
  • Bring a change of dry clothes and a large towel to cover your mat for heated classes.
  • All levels of experience welcome, instruction personalized and adapted for all students.
  • Recommended to practice on an empty stomach, eat 2-3 hours before class, or light snack before practice.

POWER VINYASA: An invigorating flow of yoga postures taught in a room heated to ~ 90F. Encourages building muscle tone, improving flexibility, and promoting relaxation and stress release. Aims to inspire and enliven in an energetic flow that has many different levels so that beginners and advanced students may be challenged and transformed in the same class. Bring a large towel & water bottle and be prepared to sweat & feel amazing!

ALL LEVELS VINYASA: Perfect for the beginner student yet challenging enough for the more experienced wanting to play their edge.  Learn and explore alignment and breath awareness while building strength and confidence in each pose.  Go at your own pace linking breath with movement in this fun, dynamic flowing class style.  A great class for every body.  Room warmed to ~80F.

YOGA FOUNDATIONS:  Provides informative instruction on the basics of practicing yoga while building strength and skill.   Taught in a non-heated room, you will learn the basics of sun salutations, foundation yoga postures and shapes, and the importance of connecting with the breath.  Suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience who can benefit from revisiting essential alignment, flow, and breath-work principles.

YOGA JUNKIE:  A fun and flowing class that provides expert instruction without inhibiting the flow.  Don’t worry about flexibility!  Expand your heart, free your mind and grow your practice.  Room is gently to ~85-90F as the series of poses creates an internal heat that transforms.  You will sweat!  Suitable for fit beginners and experienced students.

SUNRISE VINYASA:  Same as our ALL LEVELS VINYASA, taught by our dedicated instructors willing to wake up before dawn. Make sure to sign up a head of time to make the commitment to yourself to get up & on the mat! The cut off time for class sign up will be 10pm the night before class. In this class it is common for the teacher to practice with the class, because it is their morning practice too.

MEDITATION: The culmination of your physical yoga practice is seated meditation.  Join teachers for a guided or silent meditation to enhance your yoga practice and provide an opportunity for stress relief & deep relaxation.  Free of charge, if you are checked in this does not deduct from your class package.
