Join for an evening or organ music and song at the Congregational Church of Killingworth. The performance is part of a capital campaign to restore the cherished historical landmark.
Jeremiah Mead is a third year student in the Bachelor of Music organ program at The Juilliard School. Mead, a native of Madison, Connecticut, has studied organ at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Hartford, Connecticut and at Trinity Church on the Green in New Haven, Connecticut. He has studied piano and sang for ten years as a member of the Trinity Church Choir of Men and Boys in New Haven, Connecticut.
Paul Thoma is a former Connecticut public school music teacher. He holds BS and MM degrees in music Education with a vocal performance emphasis. He has held church music positions in Texas and Connecticut and has served as a supply organist in over 70 churches, mostly in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. Paul sings tenor in the New Haven Chorale and sings solo repertoire in churches and other venues. As an avocation, he plays violin in a string ensemble in New Haven.
