Mystic Seaport Museum’s Virtual Chantey Blast

Traditionally, the Seaport hosts a Chantey Blast every year as a fundraiser for the annual Sea Music Festival. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Sea Music Festival was canceled. However, thanks to two generous gifts from a festival supporter, the Museum saw the safe return of sea music to its grounds. Exclusively via this fund, performers A.J. Wright, Richard Donohue, Don Sineti, Geoff Kaufman, Rick Spencer, Dawn Indermuehle, Denise Kegler, Marc Bernier, Chris Koldewey, Craig Edwards, Chris Maden, Yves Corbiere, Mark Lambert, and April Grant as well as the delightful and renowned musical groups “The Johnson Girls,” “The Vox Hunters,” and “Skylark” were invited to perform throughout the summer, fall, and early winter months of 2020.

While the event is free, your donations are greatly appreciated you can make your donations online. Donations are also accepted by check payable to “Mystic Seaport Museum” as well. On the check memo line or in the online tribute box please write either “Music at Mystic Seaport Museum” or “Stan Hugill Endowment.” Checks can be sent here.
