Fresh Market
For those of us who love to grocery shop (moi!), we’ll have some fun at the new Fresh Market in Guilford. I’ve already been down there TWICE, to fill my cart with all kinds of hard-to-find specialty foods like Dang Coconut Chips (my new favorite snack thanks to Recipe 4 Wellness Cleanse), Gaetner’s fantastic ice cream, Caroline’s buttermilk biscuits (in the frozen section) and my favorite muesli by Evoke. The rotisserie section is take-out heaven with at least four flavors of roasted chickens, lovely hunks of roast pork, and chicken wings myriad ways. I bought the oak-roasted salmon and ran back for more. On the hunt for white sponges? You’ll find them here. I’ll still head straight to Bishops for local produce, but I have to say that Fresh Market is a welcome addition to food shopping on the Shoreline.
