It’s so easy to get caught up in the “I’m soooo busy” this time of year, but last week I made time, intentionally, to enjoy it. I had a fantastic pretheater dinner at August with a friend (see our write up under New Haven on theelist.com), then spent a couple of hours immersed in familial relationships at Long Wharf Theatre. On Saturday afternoon, I made my husband come with me to Lady Bird, and, in the end, he was glad he did. A coming of age movie that I know will resonate with my friends with daughters (hey, we moms do the best we can). And on Sunday, we hosted 60 odd neighbors (with lots of help from all of them) for a holiday bash to benefit The Lyme Youth Services. Spirited, indeed. Oh, and I whizzed through Guilford to give you a preview of what’s in store at Girls Night Out on Thursday, 12/7. See YOU there. love, erica
