West coast and east coast meet harmoniously on the twenty acre estate that is Jonathan Edwards Winery – thanks to the co-founder/namesake bringing Napa Valley style to the charming agricultural town of North Stonington. Often simple is best and Jonathan Edwards attains it with the focus to make good wine and enjoy life. The rolling back roads of North Stonington hide rich local agriculture but as you crest the top of the hill on Chester Main Road, that beauty is revealed in the vineyard vista. The quintessential event of the year is the Annual Harvest Festival held in October, complete with a grape stomping competition, food trucks and vendors, live music, children’s activities, and picnicking among the vines.
