Leave it to Lark

Lark has taken over most of the elegant stone building on Water Street just when you hit Chester, and owner Suzie Woodward’s eclectic taste extends to local and hand-crafted goods in every category. This is one of those slightly kooky treasure troves, packed with merch from front to back, so I suggest you take your time and settle in. I spied lovely flour sack towels for $13, French cotton gauze tunics are an easy one size fits most, these wheelie travel bags ($152) with a computer tote on top ($82) are a smart choice for the inveterate globe-trotter, and I always love a pretty watercolor print, here in a lightweight puffer jacket for only $119. Socks, scarves, ceramics, jewelry, gift books, too. A worthy stop on your holiday shopping tour.
