Head to New Haven for City Seed’s Saturday Winter’s Farmers Market:

The Kate celebrates the Academy Awards at its annual Oscar Party! Dress up, strut the red carpet and enjoy cocktail and hors d’oeuvres and the Oscars on the big screen.

National Ballet Theater of Odessa presents Sleeping Beauty at the Shubert in New Haven:

Can’t wait to take a few spins around the ice at the outdoor Ice Skating Rink in Middletown at Harbor Park.

Prefer indoor ice? Norwich’s Rose Garden arena has plenty of public skate sessions. 

Spy Bald Eagles and other winter wildlife on a River Quest Eagle Cruise.

Laissez les bon temps rouler at Shoreline Arts Alliance Mardi Gras Gala on 2/2.

Mystic Seaport Museum offers its first Annual Ice Festival with ice sculptures, Planetarium shows, carriage rides, survival skills, St. Bernard demos, live music, and more from February 16th thru 18th.

The Cabin Fever Festival and Charity Chowder Cook-off happens on February 23, 2019  at Olde Mistick Village.

Chili lovers won’t want to miss Old Saybrook’s Annual Chili Fest on March 2nd.

Musical Masterworks presents its series of chamber music in the acoustically excellent Frist Congregational church of Old Lyme.

Three Sunday concerts at 3pm are left in Essex Winter Series, presenting the highest quality in established and emerging artists.

Stonington Vineyards offers a music festival the last Saturday of every month (wine and cookie dough treats!) Here’s the schedule.

Dudley Farm hosts a Winter Farmers’ Market the first Saturday of the month starting 2/2.

The Farm Stand at White Gate Farm is open Saturdays through the winter, plus farm-to-table cooking classes and dinners.

Grip & Slip Mountain Bike Race at Powder Ridge, 2/9/19.

CT Kid’s Fair (2/9 & 2/10) and Flower & Garden Show (2/21 – 2/24) at the CT Convention Center. 

Grog, grub, music, and dancing at the Privateer’s Bash on 2/23 at the CT River Museum. Costumes encouraged!

The New Haven Cocktail Museum opens with a Wild Turkey Tasting and hors d’oeuvres on January 31st.

Winding Trails in Farmington offers cross-country skiing on groomed trails, rentals, sledding (with rental tubes), and ice-skating.
