Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter\, The Friends of The New Haven Animal Shelter and North Shore Animal League America will be visiting Broadway Island in New Haven on May 2 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm with select dogs available for adoption and information regarding additional animals. Note\, those who wish to adopt must apply. \nThe Dog Adoption is a family-friendly event which is free and open to the public\, featuring fun actives and free parking. The Shops at Yale marketing team will be presenting a check for $3\,500 to Friends of The New Haven Animal Shelter from the proceeds of the third and final Appetizer & Dessert Crawl in 2026\, also taking place on May 2. \nThe event will include: \n• Live Jazz Performances by talented local musicians \n️• Complimentary Caricatures – pets & people welcome \n• Free Face Painting for all ages \n• Complimentary Kettle Corn \n• Complimentary Italian Ice \n• Free Parking at the 150 York Street Garage \nBroadway Island is located at 56 Broadway – across from Apple\, Lululemon and J.Crew. Free parking is available at the 150 York Street Garage (Chapel-York Garage) with validation at the event.
