SUMMARY:Gardening and DIY Books for Sale at the Essex Library
DESCRIPTION:Last month’s cookbook sale at the Essex Library was a success! May’s focused sale will be Gardening and DIY books. Please take a look at the shelves in the library foyer\, as well as the inside shelves just to the right of the entrance. Do these beautiful Spring days make you eager to get your hands dirty in the garden? Or perhaps there’s a home project you’ve been meaning to attempt? Time to Do It Yourself! There’s a great selection of books to help you get started. Just place cash or checks in the large glass jar in the foyer. \nThe library is finally ready to start accepting donations on a limited basis! The Library will have two Donation Days this month: Thursday\, May 13 (rain date May 14)\, and Thursday\, May 20 (rain date May 21). Just drive up to the outside station in the library parking lot\, between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. Volunteers will be there to greet you. \nPlease help by following a few rules. Two bags or two boxes (wine case size) will be accepted from each household. All books should be in good condition. No moldy\, dirty or smelly items\, please. The Library can no longer accept movies or music. \nFinally\, Save The Date of Saturday\, June 5\, 10 am – 2 pm for an outdoor “Something For Everyone” Book Sale. More details to follow.
