SUMMARY:Guilford Arts Center Presents "The Quilters"
DESCRIPTION:Head to Guilford Arts Center on October 22 to a special screening of The Quilters\, a new documentary by local filmmaker Jenifer McShane. \nThere will be two screenings at Madison Cinemas: 6:00pm and 7:15pm. \nTickets are $35 and include the movie\, drink/popcorn and Q&A session with Jenifer and Scott Ruderman\, Director of Photography. All proceeds will benefit GAC \nThe Quilters is a 32-minute documentary\, that follows the daily lives of several men inside the sewing room in a Level 5 maximum security prison in a small Missouri town. Audiences will come to know these men\, witnessing their struggles\, triumphs\, and sense of pride as they create something beautiful in this windowless\, sacred space\, deep within the prison walls.
