DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand\, The LYSB is offering a weekend to de-stress and take a time out from technology and social media. Enjoy the fun activities the community partners have to offer\, including a homework free weekend for the students of LOLMS. All activities have covid precautions in place. \nBellow is the full list of events via the respective organizers. \nFLORENCE GRISWOLD MUSEUM\nSaturday\, October 23 & Sunday\, October 24\, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\nWee Faerie Village: FOLLY WOODS!\nOver two dozen faerie-scaled architectural amusements will delight and inspire visitors as they travel along the Artists’ Trail. The theme is a playful\, miniaturized take on ornamental buildings popular on country estates\, parks\, and gardens in the 18th and 19th centuries. Visitors will learn about different architectural styles from across the world as they gaze in awe at the artists’ whimsical creative skills. Saturday October 23\, twist the day away with balloon art by April. And Sunday October 24 is Jolly Day with magician and entertainer Joe Howard making merry! Fun for all ages and the young at heart\, all weekend long. \nHIGH HOPES THERAPEUTIC RIDING\nSaturday\, October 23\, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\, RSVP\nVisit High Hopes Therapeutic Riding and spend two hours helping with trail maintenance.
