DESCRIPTION:Wesleyan Potters is a nonprofit cooperative craft guild in Middletown. Their annual Spring Sale is a great opportunity to find one-of-a-kind gifts just in time for Mother’s Day\, Father’s Day\, graduations and weddings. \n Sale features:\n-30+ local artist booths (pottery\, jewelry\, handwoven works)\n-Demonstrations of wheel thrown pottery and handweaving\n-Seasonal plant and flower sale (donated by Michael’s Greenhouse)\n-Snacks and refreshments\n-Raffle of pottery\, jewelry and handwoven goods (donated by members)\n-Scholarship Fund table with assorted donated works to support the growth and the development of youth and adult need-based scholarships \nThe sale is free and open to the public. All proceeds benefit local artists and the Wesleyan Potters Fundraising and Scholarship Funds. \nWesleyan Potters\, a non-profit cooperative guild\, is celebrating its 76th year. The guild was formed to promote the learning and development of skill in crafts. Classes are held year-round along with lectures\, exhibits\, demonstrations\, workshops\, and videos. Qualified instructors present classes in well-equipped studios for adults\, teens\, and children. Wesleyan Potters also maintains a year-round Gallery Shop.
