On the hunt for the perfect teacher gift? We found it at Apples, Etc. in Branford. This family business has been hand-rolling apples in creamy caramel and Lindt chocolate for two years now and has perfected the process. On offer are all manner of delights, from Heavenly Heath and Oreo Avalanche to Aftershock, a sinful concoction covered in Rice Krispies and peanut butter morsels. Kids will clamor for Dirt & Worms, smothered in crushed cookie “dirt” and gummies.  Granny Smith’s are coated daily, so you’ll always find fresh products, and they’re happy to ship anywhere in the U.S. We downed a Heavenly Heath at our team meeting and though they say the giant apples serve 8 to 10, three of us made short work of it. We couldn’t resist the sweet, tart, chocolatey loveliness and kept sneaking back for just one more slice.
