Weekend Kitchen for the Holidays

This is always one of my favorite spots for little gifts and stocking stuffers. Owner Nancy Kirkiles-Smith has packed the shop this season with antique silver spoons, gravy boats, and cordial glasses, plus a large stock of her own handmade letter-pressed greeting cards, lots of lovely soaps and dishes, and my favorite line of Appointed notebooks. Not to mention what you actually went there for, a surprising amount of cooking accouterments all stuffed into the sweet little shop.
My latest discovery are these genius “Stashers,” a silicone (plastic-free) reusable bag that you can cook, microwave, sous-vide, and store food in. Simply brilliant and the perfect stocking stuffer for every foodie you know. You’ll also need to stock up on these cards, a timely sentiment to cheer far-flung friends and family that you haven’t laid eyes on in months.
