A Night of Impact—Helping Kids Rise, Return, and Light the Way
Join us for BRAYCE’s 20th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser—an evening of inspiration and global impact.
The Brazilian and American Youth Cultural Exchange (BRAYCE) opens doors for students from Rio de Janeiro’s most underserved communities, bringing them to our Shoreline for leadership training at Camp Hazen YMCA and access to educational opportunities that empower them to return home and uplift their communities.
This summer, we’re thrilled to welcome four students—Pietro, Rafaella, Carolina, and Matheus—to Chester for their time at camp. Their time here will culminate in The Other Side of Rio, our Annual Scholarship Fundraiser, on Friday, July 17 at 5pm at the Chester Meeting House—an iconic landmark chosen to mark BRAYCE’s 20th year in the place we’ve long called home.
The evening is a celebration of our students. Guests will hear from them firsthand, enjoy Brazilian music, drinks and appetizers, and take part in a live and silent auction—all alongside a community that believes in youth empowerment and global citizenship.
