I-Park, A Hidden Gem in East Haddam
Posted On : June 15, 2026
My morning at IPark during CT Trails Day was nothing short of magical! This inspiring non-profit organization is a rural retreat for artists-in-residence set within a 450-acre nature preserve in East Haddam. Though not open every day, the enchanting trails—sprinkled with imaginative art installations—welcome visitors during special open trails events and, sometimes, Open Studios when new works appear. Strolling along the winding, mossy paths, some flanked by soaring bamboo, feels like stepping into wonderland. This hidden gem is hosting several upcoming free events open to all and check the site for more info: www.i-park.org
