There she is, Miss America! Give the gift of history being made by purchasing tickets to the competition, which will be held at Mohegan Sun. Your gift recipient can watch in person as the 100th Miss America gets chosen before their very eyes at this iconic event’s 100-year celebration.
The competition, which encourages female empowerment and offers multiple scholarships, will showcase a diverse group of women who are passing along the message of female strength and independence. Miss America candidates contribute tens of thousands of community service hours annually and have raised more than $17 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Miss America scholarships since 2007. The Miss America Foundation, a 501(c) (3), provides academic, community service, and other scholarships to young women.
“Miss America is more than a title, it’s a movement of empowering young women everywhere to dream big, to insist that their voices be heard and to inspire change in the world around them, Of course, Miss America wears a crown—she rules,” said Shantel Krebs, Miss America Organization, Board Chair, President & CEO.
There will be 51 women vying for that special crown on Dec. 16. And if your gift recipient can’t make it on the 16th, check out Miss America Organization’s Gift Shop, where you can find presents ranging from Miss America T-shirts to water bottles to pet collars and more.
