2023 Cherry Blossom Celebration

The Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Committee is delighted to be hosting a special celebration this year honoring the 50th Anniversary of these amazing trees in Wooster Square Park. These trees have helped anchor Wooster Square and the City of New Haven with a signature and historic landmark that we honor with a milestone anniversary this year.
Every year the cherry trees blossom at different times, but all stages are equally beautiful from the start of the buds to the “pink snow” as they fall away. Wooster Square is a wonderful neighborhood, and we are lucky to have this beautiful park to celebrate in. Join us for an afternoon of celebration, music, food trucks and fun!
