7th Annual New Haven Chalk Art Festival

Enjoy an afternoon of art, community, music, and entertainment at the 7th Annual New Haven Chalk Art Festival on Saturday, October 12, from 12:00–4:00 PM in the Chapel and Broadway districts in historic Downtown New Haven. The rain date is October 13.
Watch the sidewalks come to life as over 65 artists create stunning chalk designs at two locations, and cast your vote for your favorite to win $50 gift cards to local restaurants. The event will feature a roaming magician, live jazz, free kettle corn, and more! Local restaurants and retailers will be offering exclusive deals, with special sales sheets available at The Shops at Yale tables during the event.
In addition, families can visit the Family Fun Zone, where children will receive free Crayola Sidewalk Chalk, enjoy free drawing lessons with a professional artist from The Giggling Pig, face painting, music, and more.
