How much would you pay for a white painting? Would it matter who the painter was? Serge has just bought a very expensive painting, all white with barely visible white diagonal lines. His friend Marc thinks it’s a joke. The comedy “ART” opens at the Drama Works Theatre in Old Saybrook on May 23rd and runs on the 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st and June 1st. “ART” won the 1998 Tony Award for Best Play and the Oliver Award for Best Comedy. The Drama Works Theatre is an intimate theatre space with 42 seats. It is as if you were at an Off Off Broadway black box theatre. They are located at 323 Boston Post road in Old Saybrook. Very good directions are on their website.
