Chester Historic Homes Tour

Ever wondered what’s behind the doors of Chester’s iconic homes? Now’s your chance to find out. The Chester Historical Society is hosting a walking tour of seven historically significant homes, whose gracious owners are opening their doors to a limited number of visitors.
The houses are all centrally located, within walking distance of designated free parking lots and Chester Village. Knowledgeable volunteers (and in some cases the homeowners themselves) will be on hand to share the stories behind the architecture, renovations and history.
Advance tickets are $40 ($35 for CHS members) and available now! But don’t wait , advance sales end May 5, and tickets are limited. After that, remaining tickets go for $50 at the door.
Chester’s excellent restaurants are nearby when you’re ready for lunch, ice cream or beverages.
Location: All ticket holders must check in at the Chester Meeting House (4 Liberty St.) on Friday afternoon (May 8) or Saturday (May 9) to receive a wristband to serve as your admission ticket to each home along with a commemorative program with details about each home and a map.
