Community Music School Faculty Concert

The incredible professional musicians/teachers of Community Music School perform a variety of selections (on a variety of instruments) in this free concert for the community, including the premiere of a new work “Duettino for Flute and Vibraphone” by Thomas Briggs, and a jazz trio performance of Oliver Nelson’s blues composition “Stolen Moments.” The afternoon concludes by featuring 15 faculty members in the performance of a new arrangement by CMS Music Director Tom Briggs of four compositions by the famous Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla; Oblivion, Adios Nonio, Street Tango, and Libertango.
