Connecticut River Museum’s Trees in the Rigging

Trees in the Rigging is back and bigger than ever! Join the Connecticut River Museum for a full day of festive fun! In collaboration with the Essex Historical Society and Safe Harbor Dauntless & Essex Island, the Connecticut River Museum is thrilled that the celebration is expanding!

Starting at 10 am, immerse yourself in the enchanting Annual Holiday Train Show. At noon, kickstart your holiday shopping on the North Deck, exploring a delightful Holiday Market filled with unique and wonderful items. The little ones can join in on the fun with children’s craft activities also starting at noon. Warm up and indulge in a cup of delicious hot chocolate. As the day progresses, at 4:30 pm, partake in a beloved tradition – a lantern-lit carol stroll from Essex Town Hall to the Connecticut River Museum. And at 5:00pm don’t forget to marvel at the stunning light displays crafted by local boaters during the Boat Parade. There’s something for everyone to enjoy during this festive celebration.
