Opening May 21: “Dana Sherwood: Animal Appetites and Other Encounters in Wildness.”
Visitors will tour the Florence Griswold Museum’s galleries, grounds, and historic house, exploring relationships between wild nature and domestic culture, cross-species communication, and the feminine experience. In her first solo museum exhibition, Dana Sherwood exhibits films, sculpture, and oil and watercolor paintings, offering viewers a confection of fantasy and whimsy as an appetizer to the seriousness of the issues she presents. Through September 18.
