Essex Historical Society invites you to celebrate the holidays in historic style as you visit 6 historic private homes on the Essex Holiday House Tour, December 7, 2024. All of the featured homes and stops are located within walking distance of Essex Village and any standard admission fees are waived with your passport booklet. This year’s tour includes the following TEN stops!
-Six private, historic homes all exquisitely maintained and decorated for the holidays
-EHS’s Pratt House Museum (1732) decorated in the theme of “Maritime Christmas”
-Connecticut River Museum, including Steve Cryan’s 31st Annual Holiday Train Show Exhibition
-St. John’s Episcopal Church hosting cider and sweets as well as tours of the church
-Essex Art Association hosting “Chilly, Cheap, & Chili” accompanying their last art show of the year
The tour supports Essex Historical Society’s (EHS) mission of ensuring access to local history for all through community, preservation and education programs.
Tickets are being sold NOW through 11/26 for $60, the day of the tour for $70.
The event is throughout Essex Village. Check-in happens at the Essex Town Hall.
