Flower Hammering Natural Dye Class with The Three Two Store

Join The Three Two Store for a very special evening in the flower fields at Scott’s Farm in Centerbrook. You’ll spend the evening snacking and learning Tatakizome- a natural dye technique of hammering freshly picked flowers into silk to create permanent prints. Aubrey will teach scouring and mordanting (fabric prep) and then delve into hammering technique using flowers from the fields. Each guest will make a 20″ x 20″ silk masterpiece. Light refreshments & all materials provided. This is an outdoor class.
