Give the Gift of Books!
The Friends of the Guilford Free Library will hold their annual Holiday Sale on Friday, December 3, and Saturday, December 4. The sale will offer a superb selection for readers of all ages and is the perfect opportunity to give the gift of books. For children, there are holiday-themed books, hardcover picture books, and classics. For adults, in addition to fiction and nonfiction, there are cookbooks, and books on history, art, nature, sports, and gardening. Stocking stuffers for all ages include small books, handmade journals, puzzles, and games. Everything is in pristine condition and priced to make your pocketbook rejoice.
On Friday afternoon, the Camerata Singers from Adams School will add to the festive atmosphere. Preschoolers from the Guilford Center for Children created the holiday decorations in the lobby.
Proceeds from the sale go to support the Library – to buy books, sponsor programs, purchase equipment, and provide staff development. Bring your own shopping bag or buy one with the Friends’ logo for only $1.
