Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale
Mother’s Day Weekend: Friday, May 6, 10am – 5pm
Saturday, May 7, 10am – 4pm
Once again as May flowers bloom, The Friends of the Guilford Free Library will hold their Annual Spring Book Sale. The sale offers gently used hardcover and paperback fiction and nonfiction for adults and children, as well as books on art, gardening, and cooking. Also vintage books, CDs, puzzles and much more. Everything in excellent condition and at unbeatable prices.
The first 25 shoppers on Friday will receive a free Mother’s Day flower, generously donated by Guilford White House Florist. Students from the Madison School of Rock, which offers innovative performance-based music education for all ages, will entertain on Saturday from noon to 1pm.
The sale will be held on the front patio of the Library, weather permitting. No rain dates.
Please bring your own bag or buy a reusable one from the Friends for $1.
All proceeds from the sale go to support the Library – to buy books; sponsor programs for children, teens, and adults; purchase equipment, software, and hardware; and to provide funds for staff development.
The Library is located at 67 Park Street across from the Guilford Green.
