If you hope to create better images of your garden, house and property, this photography workshop is for you. Nearly all smartphones/tablets offer simple-to-use, professional-level camera systems. Go beyond the basics of your device’s camera, and learn how to integrate these controls and create unique and beautiful photographs. Taught by highly experienced instructor and professional photographer, Thad Kubis, this full-day course will provide a hands-on, application-based introduction to all aspects of garden-based smartphone and tablet photography.
The class will begin with an overview of smartphone/tablet camera systems and functionality. During a subsequent two-hour walk in the garden, participants will develop their composition skills and learn to use light, shadow and tones to become better garden, floral and landscape photographers. At the end of the session, students will receive individual feedback from Thad, to set them up for future success with their smartphone/tablet photography.
This workshop is most suitable for users of iPhone models 6 to 13 Pro Max and related tablets. Android users are welcome to attend, but should be aware that some of the instruction will be specific to iPhones and iPads. Participants will receive Thad’s guide to smartphone photography. All should bring a fully charged device to learn more about the functions and expand their photographic skill set.
Thaddeus Kubis is an editorial, documentary and fine art photographer and instructor with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of photography.
