Small-town fairs don’t get much more charming than this. The Hamburg Fair returns to Lyme with carnival rides, farm animals, live music, fair food, and plenty of friendly competition. Try your hand at the fry pan toss, hay bale toss, or tug of war, browse agricultural and craft exhibits, and bring the kids for games and pony rides. It’s an old-fashioned summer tradition that’s pure New England.
