Come and explore the beautifully restored house and grounds of The Mount, Home of famed author and one of America’s first Interior Decorators, Edith Wharton.
Imagine- transporting yourself back in time…taking in the beauty and craftsmanship of an estate built to last.
Tour will be docent led and include a tour of the interior of the home, as well as the grounds and garden and a lovely lunch outside on the covered veranda that overlooks the gardens.
The Mount Property is at 2 Plunkett Street, Lenox, MA .
Be prepared to walk a fairly long distance from the parking lot to the house or to wait THE MOUNT, LENOX MA
**Transportation not included. Car pooling encouraged. Meet in the Parking Lot of The or the complimentary golf cart transport. Please arrive no later than 10:30am.
Tour begins at 10:45am. Lunch to be served on the veranda at 11:45am. Garden tour to start at about 12:30. Leave enough time in your schedule to roam about an re-visit areas you missed or want to explore further. Also you will definitely want to visit the gift shop. Wrap up at 2:30pm.
