Joy Chocolate is Open in Essex!

Joy Chocolate Co. has been in the making for the last four years and is finally open in Essex’s historic Village. The owners, Claire and Steve Ariyan, purchased the circa 1880s building in 2018 and have crafted a joyful and whimsical theme throughout.
Claire, a registered dietitian, is the resident chocolatier and trained at Ecole Chocolate’s school and earned a certificate in their professional chocolatier’s program.
Joy Chocolate Co offers something for everyone. From hand crafted sea salted caramels, single origin gourmet hot chocolate, a bespoke Guatemalan coffee, to organic treats for your dog, visit our quaint shop to find the perfect gift for your family and friends!
